I particular like the gothic style, and I do always wear black (for no particular reason). I for one hate most gothic music with the exception of old skool gothic bands like The Cure and Siouxsie. I dont think the gothic ideas are anything bad in theory...but when people make the image the most important part of their life thats when the trouble happens. The same could be said about any style of genre...even people who dress casually if it becomes out of hand.Im not saying any of you are doing this Im just saying making broad accusations because of a way someone is dressed or how much makeup they have on isnt really fair...im not upset or anything but to say "all of one particular group thinks a certain way" is wrong. I know lots of gothic people who just really like the style, not all of them bleach their skin and whatnot...

what do you mean: sad to say none of my friends really care what i am? isn't that a good thing that they don't decide to like you because you're goth? i would rather tend to think it's a positive thing that they like you for who you are and not what you are... or am i the only one who thinks that? :sheep:

yah i guess we all do its only human...

im going to bring up another topic its on the topic but its not:
CULTS... what do you think of them my opinion is that there stupid but the crazy thing about them is that its takes such a small amont of time to join them but it takes soo long to get out of them.

it really does depend on what cult you are talking about. I study religious matters and cults/ secret socities with my free time. FreeMasonry for example...which some consider a cult takes months and possibly even years to join. You have to prove yourself to 3 (or more) different strangers over a set amount of time (this does however vary between certain chapters and rites). Various other cults will only allow a certain amount of members to join i.e. The Priory of Sion.
Now if you are talking about heavens gate and things of that nature, then yes those can be relativiily easy to join...

i think it was called heavens gate but im not sure but its very easy to join and theres no limit on the amount of members, but its really trippy the way cults work.
