I need software with which I can store films of a DVD. I do not want to burn the whole DVD or copy, but only the film. So that I can process the film later.

this is a complet guess if im right go to my computer and right click on the station the cd is and click on explore and take what you want to take out to the desktop pm me if it works or not ^_^

I have already tried this. But if I click OPEN or EXPLORE, comes only "Audio_TS" and "Video_TS".
In the folder "Video_TS" are only such strange files which cannot be opened normally.
What should I do?!?

Audio _TS and Video_TS are folders that a Video DVD contains. Eseentally its a raw form of video and audio needed for it to be played in a DVD player (regardless of software or hardware).

Exactly, what are you are trying to do? Are you trying to extract a video from DVD?

I want to extract the film from my "Ah! My Goddess the Movie"-DVD to make an AMV. So, which software do I need?

All you need is a decrypter and an encoder.

To get the files off the dvd you would need a program like DVD Decrypter thats the best program ive used to get the files off a dvd but its been removed from sites now as some anti piracy thing bought it so no one could get it anymore,
but it should be avalible on torrents somewere, its also very small so i could even send you it in an email ^_^.


Blaze Media Pro is good for converting video files as it does quite alot but i dont know if it converters to AMV
