Indeed, there is also the "elf" effect, elves are supposdly long-life or immortal but can be killed under violent curcantamces.

I go more by the fact that gods and goddesses can be really killed (in case, destroyed) if necessary power (normally energy since we need a lot of power to stop a god) is applied.

I agree with you!

You can measure "hard to die" types with the ammount of energy they possess or control.
But there are some elements that escape that "normality" of the theory. That's K1's case, and
some others.

Actually, I have heard that Gods and Goddesses can be killed. After all, we do have the doublet system. And it has been stated that the gods and devils placed the doublet system in place mainly because so that they don't go and kill each other in every confrontation. Of course, I'm going by the Manga and I don't exactly know how this is handled in the Anime.

Yeah they can - Belldandy and Welsper are a god and a demon under the doublet system ... they shouldn't with whom they're paired but Welsper managed to stop that so i guess he must've been a most powerful demon license as much as Bell is!! ^_^

One of the points about Gods and Goddesses mortality is indeed in the soublet system thesis.
