For those of you that have read the manga from vol. 1 would know that the look of Belldandy have gone through many changes, in fact the Belldandy in the very first manga look almost completely different to the Belldandy we know now. But i was wondering which stage of Belldandy's evolution do you like the best?
I think all of Belldandy's looks (in manga, OVA, movie, TV series) are beautiful but i think i like the look she has during the manga volumes around the time of the Phantom Racer. I have seen the latest look of Belldandy in the manga but i don't know, her eyes seem a bit too large (but it still looks great). Of course the look in the OVA and movie are also just as stunning as the manga one.

i really liek Bell's looks between volumes 21 and 25 about... after she changes to how she is now and i find too that her eyes are too wide, and she doesn't look as kind as before...

I like the movie and the OAV version. Do you like the new evolution?:bg:

hmmm well i kno i can't sai ani thing bad about belldandy but i like the new her she seems way better the wai she is in the manga she still looks preerti

I agree. She does look really nice during the "Phantom Racer" comics. I think that her movie look was very good as well, but the middle of the manga is how I will think of her.

hmm... i kind of think she's cute in "Phantom Racer"... and i like she looks in the movie as well... but not really the new Belldandy... i think she has a wierd look... :heh:

they seem to have based the new TV series Belldandy on her current manga form, i would have expected they would use the Movie look, but the TV one looks pretty also.

I'm a huge fan of the movie look; everything about it seems *just* right, especially the facial features and the hair. I especially love how her clothing was updated, but still true-to-form.

to me the Belldandy in the movie has a more mature look compared to the OVA. i love it!

The movie look is also my favorite. However the new Belldandy look and the "Phantom Racer" look are really close as a tie for second.

Just wondering, do you think the change in the character's overall looks represent the change of maturity in the manga? For example, the tasks and trials that they face during that "evolution". Just a thought.

hmmm...i suppose in a way the evolution of Belldandy does reflect the level of maturity as the manga progresses but i think the look up to Phantom Racer should be the one to be adopted. Im not too sure about the current manga look in the latest volumes in Japan, i'll hav to wait and see.
But i think the maturity theory is definitely true for Skuld.

oh yes! Skuld is getting prettier and prettier! she's growing up really nicely!
