Why they dont release the series to fit a DVD? Im starting to get pissed over it with lots of those in my hdd.
Maybe somebody should teach them a DVD-R has 4488 MB.

I bet when the 30GB media discs come out, the 26 episode series sure will be one way that of you try to put some 5 series it will still wont fit (some 50 mb more or so).

The question is for you: do you want a crappy, short series or a series with excellent characters, an engaging plot and beautiful art? Most peple know that DVDs have 4.7 GB of capacity, so don't act like you know everything.

Andromeda does have a point, though. I used to see almost series packaged into one or several convenient sets of 700 MB, 4.7 GB, or 8.54 GB. This does maximize the quality of a series while minimizing the physical storage (in my opinion, a worthy trade off).

Lately, though I have noticed that some series tend to barely spill over, which can be quite frustrating. I wonder if there is a reason for this besides poor calculations...
