which one are you tryin to buy? SH2: Restless Dreams is the most common to find but also the most expensive (it's second release with bonus scenario's etc)

they give me silent hill 2 and 4...4 has the most tremendous cover....i looked at the back it's hair-raising

yeah, to bad SH4 is the weak link in the series, cool concept and the whole Walter thing rocks, but this is the only game where the main character is never explored, you learn little if anything about him, focusing on the tragedy that created the main villain instead

so which is the best version? SH2 or SH4?

SH2 by far :E, it's brilliant to play, has the most tragic storyline and develops the character the farthest, everything in SH2 has some hidden meaning relating to James (MC), you can spend hours just picking apart your background for hidden meanings etc ^-^, of course there's also a good dose of horror and sorrow in there as well, it'll leave you unsure at the end wither you emphasis with or hate James, the ending you get will also effect this...
