1.07 tera bytes?! Oh but...what are you using many hard disks for? Are you using the computer as a server?

Actually, no, the machine isn't used as a server (though I do have servers, they don't do file sharing). To be truthful, I am only using about 75% of the total space. About 40% of that is for various anime, and another 10% is for music. The rest is for operating system downloads/dvds and most importantly - games.

Nice thing is, large hard drives are getting cheaper and cheaper (and larger too!). Just recently both Seagate and Toshiba announced a 1TB drive sometime this year.

Just remember to back it up though - to quote a friend - "the larger the hard drive storage gets, the louder you scream when it breaks."

Making images of CD, DVD in the hard disk is very useful. But hard disk doesn't always keep data safely. So we need to make backup always...

geez...a dual-core...i want one for my pc...

but sadly, if you're planning to upgrade your processor into a 'dual' one, you'll have to upgrade also the motherboard that supports the new dual-core processors...lol...

anyway...how fast is a dual processor, compared to a traditional P4 processor? :inoc:

EVGA nforce 680i motherboard
320 gb SATA hard drive
4 gb DDR2 800 mhz ram
Nvidia 8800 GTS
Intel Core 2 Duo 6600
Therlmatake Armour full tower case

and a few other amenities :sheep: I have pictures too, but only I'll only show them if requested:=

Not quite as uber as some rigs you guys have got, but I figure it will serve me well enough, and I set it up so that it will be easily upgradeable. One thing I have to wonder though is why someone would get 8800GTXs in SLI. A 50% performance increase on what is already the best card currently on the market hardly seems worth an extra $600 to me. Most I plan to do with SLI is to maybe get a second GTS if newer games are eventually more than it can handle and I don;t want to go overboard on a new card.
