oh. another fun thing to do in the winter is sitting infront of the fireplace and stay warm. then wake up early to go ice fishing.

Whoo...my winter time is usually spent sitting at home, cuddled up in a nice warm blanket while reading some mushy story about impossible love that becomes possible, with a big happy ending that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Sometimes it pays to be a romantic. :bg:

Hercule Poirot? I like the books about him too, my mom's constantly reading them so sometimes I yoink one away. I've never heard of that other detective though.

yeah... after all, one of the last stages of hypothermia IS sleepyness. I like the sound of the water in a brook, the wind in the leaves, the noise a paddle makes in the water.... fishing is an early summer sport for me, all summer if I have a canoe or boat to use.

I like to canoe, but not fishing. I feel so sorry for the fish, I just honestly can't do it. I'm such a wimp. :heh:

Well, when we used to go fishing with my dad, we -always- did that, or else kept the fish to put in our pond at home. But still. I can't bear to see them hooked like that.

Yeah, I can imagine that. But still. Plus, the places to fish around here aren't nearly as spectacular as that.
