i will try icefishing my uncle has a lake and dose it so i will ask him if i can come over and fish with him. thks for the idea.

The best part of Ice fishing is fishing in a warm ice shanty. Plus it's a real good time to relax and getting out of the house.

well,,,,,,,, as for me, I always get to shovel snow as well.......especially our drive way is down hilll with all the ice.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh

I remember one year, my sister slipped on the ice at the bottom of driveway and ended up under a school bus. that was a funny time.

I like winter because i get to watch my brother shovel the snow while i'm sitting on my bedin the warmth. hee hee! Its also good because in winter i like to sit by a fire and drink hot chocolate while watching it snow. aaahhhhh so calming...

I never played football in the snow. but I have ice fished every year so far. I can't break the streak.

But why would anyone want to catch ice? I actually avoid ice fishing at all costs, fishing is best done with a fly rod anyway. (flys ARE harder to catch:P )

that's a definite. drinking Hot Chocolate while ice fishing would be the way to go.

Having a hot chocolate indoors, sitting close to a woodburning stove, reading a book while the wind and snow howl outside is the way to go. Ice fishing is a simple matter of sitting atop the ice waiting for a fish that's sluggish from the cold and a lack of oxygen to decide to latch on to whatever peice of bait you've strung out for him. And once you do manage to pull one up through the three or four foot deep hole you've bored, you get to freeze your fingers off cleaning the poor bugger before he freezes. Ice fishing is what I do if I start to run out of food and civilization has collapsed, untill then I have trout and salmon in the freezer, that's "ice fishing" enough for me.
