Have you ever thought about how many times Belldandy has had her mind messed with?? @_@ The poor girl! What about her past does she actually remember and what's still repressed?

i don't know if there are anymore surprises to come but i do know that in the manga Belldandy's memory of Velsper is still locked as part of the Goddess and Demon counterpart agreement.

hmm ture but it seems she need help remembering things at times like mabye people are messing with her for the heck of it hmm (thinks) soo sad

lol! i don't think she forgets anythig esential about herself so, in my opinion, there are 2 possibilities remaining...:
1 - her memory was erased (like for Velsper)
2 - she simply doesn't have a clue of what your talking about... (even if she know everything... ^^)

What do you think would happen if all that tampering was undone at once? Goddess mental breakdown!

no i don't think so... of course she wouldn't go too well for a time, she's pretty strong minded so she would survive and keep on living... well i think so

or she doesn't take it well and goes mentall. that would not go over well. make me wanna cry thinking that belldandy has a memory that has been messed with so many times this could possibly happen. i like morphs idea better, about how she just doesn't know...

Yeah, his idea is definitely better. ^_^ I think even if she didn't forget, she'd be very upset and betrayed for a time, but Keiichi being the wonderful supportive boyfriend that he is, would help her through it, and she'd forgive everyone in the end, because she's perfect like that. :)

oh and... i think, if Bell discovers something really really dramatic about her past, her first reaction, like all people, would be to keep it for herself... so i don't think Keichi could do much, even if she told him... i mean, he'll probably try to comfort her but truely, what could he do?

And you're right, Keii couldn't do much to solve her problems, but in my personal experience, it does a world of good just to know you have a loved one you can share the burden with, who will care for you and be by your side while you try to deal.

yes it could...in the end though, i feel that belldandy would be strong enough mentally to eventually get through it, she might need a little help from her family, but she would do it none the less.

While there's been some serious tampering with Belldandy's mind, I can't quite believe that she hasn't got a clue about it. She may seem naive at times, but I think she's everything but. Still, Morphee-san's right about some things, and so are you, Meli-san, when it comes to knowing you have the support of your loved ones. It's be one hell of a traumatic and rather dark ordeal for the poor girl, so I'd think it'd never happen.
