Aw, I don't mean to say that all Japanese feel that way about Americans. I personally love Japan, it's people, it's culture, and some of it's entertainment. But if you look at some of the movies and anime made in Japan like "Ai Yori Aoshi", 801 TTS Airbats OVA #3, The Silent Service, Blood, The Last Vampire, Patlabor XIII, and some others, we Americans are not exactly very flattering in our conduct and our country is very sinister to say the least. Ah well. Politics, meh! Who needs them?

man i would've dropped the bombs on them too. think about it they started the whole thing with attacking pearl harbor. about Bush i believe he's doing the right things. most everyone hates Bush and will blame him about everything. man if the moon blew up they'd blame it on him. besides there are only two things that can be done about that war, fight it there or fight in here in America. i personaly prefer to fight it there.

Well the OAV is on dvd now & 2 more dvds of the tv series is out now.And me with no money.Damn minium wage.

Read Or Die OVA... my favorite action series ever!
I'm not much of a fan of action or mecha as such, as I'm a romance drama fan myself. But I find R.O.D. OVA to be the BEST action ever.
Thrilling action sequences and a galore of eye-candy, amazing animation just like a movie.
I've got the OVA on DVD and that was how I watched it in the first place. I've no anime channel or any channel that shows anime whatsoever.
I'm definitely purchasing the TV series, no doubt. I hear the TV isn't as good as the OVA, but nonetheless it is a direct sequel, you can't miss it!
R.O.D. = my top action anime of all time.

The tv series continues the story.In my mind it's just as good.If you like the OAV you'll like the tv series.I'm glad to find another fan of R.O.D.
