I've noticed that those that do stay around longer and are more active than those that don't.

I take offence (joking), Nighthawk. I didn't have an avatar at the start. In fact I think I went a couple months or so without one. But then the Bell w/ glasses image arrived...

For that matter, you didn't start out with the chibi-bell avatar, did you?
