Nope, not the ending. It's just one of those background-songs. It's really soft and gentle, and immensly pretty. Haven't heard it in the series though, but then again, I've hardly seen it.
Oh, but the ending theme is really pretty too. :)

very true holybell!
I actually write music for my friends small indepentant movies...trying to get the music to match the mood is very difficult sometimes...the best acting cannot save a scene if a bad choice of music is played

techno music in AMG? Man, that'll not gonna fit. A romantic-comedy-smooth anime together with techno music? Trance could be better. :bg:

Nah, I think trance won't fit in as well. Might as well let it be tribal music :bg:

My favorite music genre would have to love songs, and slow ballads. I like a lot of music actually, I just like those which have a good feel to them, I can range through a lot of styles, from something like I've Sound to those magical and shining styles of Yasuda Takeshi and Masuda Toshio.

I used to listen to a lot of English music when I had no anime, but now I really listen to Japanese anime music and little J-Pop if any.

I like slow and very sad styles of music, something like you'd hear from 'Sora wa Kataranai' (by Inoue Kikuko) in Onegai Teacher.

I really like anything that can make me cry, and there are lot of anime songs which do can that. I love the soundtracks from Onegai Teacher and Ah! My Goddess OVA+Movie though they have such beauty and emotion.

Another style which I love is oriental style. I love the traditional Chinese/Japanese music. Listen to the soundtrack of Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran, and you'll love it.

"Two for Tragedy" and "Everdream" by Nightwish
"Hope, Vol. 2" by Apocalyptica

Good stuff

heck yeah that Kashmir symphonic Led Zeppelin CD is the best!
I heard that Philip Glass had something to do with that. You should check out his work as well as Takamura
