Recently Microsoft developped the new open source internet explorer 7 with new features but after 2 days Mozilla released Firefox 2.
What do you prefer?

IE 7 has got nothing on Firefox. I'm not much of a computer expert, but even I know that Firefox has nowhere near as many vulnerabilities as IE. Secondly and most importantly for me, features-wise they may be similar but Firefox has the added benefit of millions of plugins already available that do pretty much anything so long as you take the time to find it. That in my opinion is the reason why Firefox is superior. IE may be open-sourced or whatever, but being open-sourced is useless if the community doesn't or have yet to contribute anything to the program. Also, most of the "new" features of IE have already been done in firefox anyway, like tabbed browsing or RSS news feeds. Right now i have around 18-20 plugins on my Firefox right now and I don't see IE being able to match that anytime soon (at least in terms of useful plugins).

I think firefox 2 but that's just me.

Well, it is like a firefox 1.5 with some new stuff like anti-phishing and some features your could get by using certain addons in 1.5. I haven't noticed much changes since i use a lot of addons.

Im using IE 7 and I like it, I only use it to doenload works and visit some pages so I dont really care, but Firefox is really a lot better than IE ??? just curious

Anyway I haven't update it.. So I'm using the 1.5 .. =) .

IE7 didn't gave me a single feature that would make me change back to the ie family.
When you update, get ready for some extension that won't be compatible.
There is an extension that disables the compatibility and allows uncompatible extensions to work.
