Inuyasha, is by far an awsome anime. But I can't help but notice that some people 'over-rate' it. What do you think?

Well, I guess that to them, it is. When you really like or love an anime, it's hard not to think of it as being the best, right? I'm guessing that there's also an anime that you like of which you say that you find to be the best, while someone else thinks it sucks. Yeah, it gets overrated aswel, but it's something that goes with the flow, I guess.

I'll rate it a 5-average.

your tastes in watching anime have certain stages that improves how beautiful and enhanced graphics w/ good story you like :)

children mostly like watever anime they watch coz they don't care if the drawings are a little bad and the color is flat etc.

but as we get older, watch anime and observe their presentation,
we are likely to upgrade our taste in great anime plots, characteres, themes, color scheming and drawing:)

That's why sometimes old animes are alot interesting to children rather than older teenagers :)

by old animes do you mean the ancient ones? like gundam mobile suit? that show is horrible, but i guess it was needed to set the gundam series in motion. either way inuyasha to me is a 4 outta 5 series

There are certain manga's or anime's that I watch because of the drawing style, but basically every anime has something magical in my eyes. Sure, one is better then the other and it's a lot nicer to look at an anime with beautiful drawings like Aa! Megami-sama, but to me that isn't really neccesairy. The story and characters are more important to me; the basics of it. And also how original it is; I mean, people still have to come up with all that stuff! I think it's amasing how much imagination people have to come up with anime's such as that.
Since I've never seen Inuyasha, I can't exactly rate it. But since I don't really have the urge to see it either, I probably already judged it on not being really interesting.

some of the things in inuyasha get old fast....kikyo for one thing, she just doesn't leave inuysha, or kagome for that matter, alone! something that doesn't get old is the monk's 'demon' possessed hand.

A demon possessed hand?! Sounds...interesting. :heh: Kind of makes me think of Vampire Hunter D, with that spirit-eating parasite in his hand.

Inu yasha is one of my favorite animes.

oo...i find inuyasha very intresting to watch...i love the two main characters who fight with each other...but overated...i see that all anime can be found overrated if watched closely...

i just was in the post of that sad series or something like that, can't remember at the moment, but they also talked about inuyasha. well, unfortunately i never wateched it or heard of it, so what is it about?
