Urd is by nature a tease, and also someone who knows that she's sexy and uses it to her advantage. With some people that can be annoying, although I can understand why they'd do that. But with Urd, it isn't really the case. She fools around and probably gives a lot of guy a nosebleed, but all in all she isn't really skanky, I think.

Urd....skanky? She's been living with Bell and K1 for years, no boyfrends, no flings.... She had to conjure up a guy for a date to folow and spy on Keichii and Belldandy. Her only real date was a young boy who thought she was his age(she was physically)... and that lasted only two days.
It almost seems she's working at becoming an old maid, Sure she's a tease, but that's about it.

I think, somewhere in the back of her mind, she's realized what kind of guy she wants. She's seen how bell and keichii feel for eachother, and she wants the same, now that she knows what to look for.

Geez. a gal tries to seduce Keichii for ONE episode and she gets the label of "skank", she's just trying to help Bell with her contract =P
And where do you get off, calling my favorite goddess a skank? :P

Urd is one of those individuals that to be honest, is one that you have to feel sorry for. Although a fictional character, Urd falls in the category of a lonely heart. I think Cevyn Mcguire hit the nail on the head with his portrayal of Urd in his fanfic "Trial by Tenderness". Urd is a beautiful woman, and she knows it. She teases and flirts and drives members of the opposite sex into a frenzy until they are putty in her hands. The problem is, finding love like her younger sister Belldandy, did is extremely hard for Urd because her beauty and sex appeal can intimidate men into being either afraid of her, or worse, men attracted to her only physically will obviously, not commit themselves to a true loving relationship, because they view her only as the "Ultimate Conquest". And I believe that Urd knows this also. The fact that Urd comes on so strong, is not really a joke to her so much, but is her own way of dealing with loneliness and thus I believe "a cry for help". I admit, this may sound overly dramatic, but I believe that is kinda how Fujishima-san wanted his character to develop. Mischievious? Yes. Flirtatious? Definitely. Skanky? No. In all truth, if Urd were a living person, she would definitely deserve compassion, warmth, and a shoulder to cry on.

I think the 'cry for help'-thing is a bit too dramatic, but besides that, you're pretty correct about her.

BWAAA! HA! HA! Forgive me for laughing. It's just too funny. "Skanky" means a woman that is "slutty" or "trashy". Of which I firmly believe Urd is not. As far as "the cry for help" theory Reiyuka_chan. Cries for help do not necessarily mean "Save me or else I'll just die". In Urd's case it's more like "an aggressive plea for for affection".

If you can find a copy of "Trial by Tenderness" Reiyuka_chan, I recommend reading it. You'll see what I mean.
