hmm.. sounds like taht she mainly does voices for serious mecha animes, does she do other roles of a more feminine nature? like ur girl next door type of role?

i love the original cast. she sounded gentle n warm. dunno who could replace her?

im almost dreading to see what dubb cast they have for the TV series, yet at the same time im excited to know its being released outside of Japan, i'd be perfectly happy with just the original Japanese voices.

Kikuko INOUE does many roles in famous anime including: card captor sakura,chobits,el-hazard,fatal fury,gatekeepers,gundam,onegai teacher,ranma,sailor moon,sakura wars and many more.

sometimes she gets the main role, sometimes not.

Tendo Kasumi from Ranma 1/2 is so much like Belldandy, plus since Kikuko also did the voice for her it is just like watching Belldandy!
or maybe is should be Belldandy is like Kasumi, since Ranma came before Ah! My Goddess was shown! ^^' i dunno!

Both Kasumi and Belldandy share the same good qualities, they both kind and good hearted, good at cooking, of a big sisterly or motherly nature, they even sometimes dress alike. ^^

yeah...both kasumi and belldandy do share the same personalities.....they're both nice characters.... ^_^

watching kasumi is like watching belldandy in AMG...

yeah, in fact i've added Tendo Kasumi to my list of fav anime girls! of course Belldandy remains the top!

Kasumi-chan is quite lovely. A bit too meek for my tastes, but very nice indeed. Inoue Kikuko is the woman you have in mind whenever you think of someone caring, mild and sweet. Like Belldandy and Kasumi.

Haha I never noticed that simillarity tell you mention it K1. I find a lot of characters in anime tend to act the same though in a steriotypical sense. I dunno perhaps this is bad dubbing/cutting but I cant stand it when its the same old one hyper character, one book worm charatcer, and one weirdo character who all becomes friends or...something weird like that X.x Im sorry but there is not reality or substance to that. It just takes away from the show ^-^

I was watching Ah My Goddess the movie yesterday and...listening to her english voice and her japanese voice....she SOUNDS LIKE MIZUHO KAZAMI to ME!!!!!!!

Kitori, from ur last post am i right to think that u have only been watching dubbs? if so then i truly suggest u watch the original Japanese voice versions, the characters will have a different feel to them and in my opinion is better than the dubbs. but dubbs are also good

Ok this was A LONG time ago but.....lol!!!!! My email is Kei kusanagi yes...^_^ and I never said Aoi was my favorite character....she is one of my favorite character but not the most favorite character...^_^ oh!!! O.O and yes...Mizuho..LOL!!!!!!!

I just like Aoi Sakuraba as a character for Belldandy because..she's cute too you know LOL!!! ^_^

I don't really know that much about anime voices but I really like Belldandys because it's really soothing and calm.

Yup! Inoue Kikugo gave her voice for many anime: Air, Chobitz, Mai Hime, Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Onegai Teacher & Twins, Gundam, Final Fantasy unlimited etc etc.
