it cost like 600 something over here i dunno i didn't buy it my dad did :D but we did sell 2 of the 3 we had for more than 900 (where not expensive people where bidding)

The cost here is over 1200 USD........... I only want a ps2, but this days it cost 300 USD, in november it cost only 120 USD, what happened?????

maybe its because of the laws of supply and demand...

I'm thinking about finally getting a PS2 (and a PS3 in a year or so), I love to play those Final Fantasy games and some of those RPGs (the ones for the xbox and xbox 360 are few and far in between).

PS3 does overheat very fast as I heard. PS3 was released with no cooling system. :ang: I also heard that sony will be releasing the cooling system for it. it seems that you'll need to buy the cooling system seperately. I don't know why sony didn't build the cooling system into the ps3.

Thats strange... when I turn mine on the thing is very loud (fan). I would put it on par with my Xobx 360 as far as noise goes. I have had my X360 over heat, but never my PS3. But my PS3 DOES get a lot hotter than the X360 (you can feel the heat radiating from it).

always make sure it's in an open spot so it won't get too hot.
