I included this because it is the same shot, slightly different angle, and because I wanted to show that they brought back Bell's really-out-of-date clothes for this episode. I was amused, at least.

Airgeneralpong is absolutely correct. The face has dramatically changed over the years (13 total).

For this picture, in my opinion, I think the different of clothes is not the point. The main different is the drawing style (Bell's face). This picture used (is) the Mid-Generation Style of drawing (small/thin eyes, longer face, etc.), but in TV series (season1+2), the animator follow the sensei's latest style (used in late manga about volume 27+). That's why "same shot, but totally different!". Oo
