Celestine was a god in heaven that served as a mentor for most of Belldandy's training.
He is a high ranking god who only appears in the movie. He is considered one of the only A!MG true bishonen (pretty boys) with his lavish dark hair and peircing eyes, along with his mystical symbols.

Celestine is a high ranking god who was originally Belldandy's mentor. He was always there for her, to guide her and teach her the ways of the goddess. However Celestine did not believe in the heaven systm and thought it to be corrupted. He was damned for eternity and improsned on the moon within a tiny mask. However we see Morgan come and free the imprisoned Celestine and she lends her body to him so he may carry out his vengence against heaven. He implants a super virus within Belldandy to corrupt the system through her.

Celestine does have a good heart and he is always seen smiling. His character was very intellegent, however it was truly he that was corrupted because he believed in a reality that could never exist.

And those in Heaven ignore the sufferings of those on Earth. They test, and grant happiness only to the chosen ones. But the cries of agony from these poor souls ring deeply in my heart.
