When Keiichi Morisato first came to Nekomi Tech, he fell under the oppressive rule of the Auto Club Presidents, Otaki and Tamiya. Though Keiichi was kicked out of the Auto Club Dorm, Otaki and Tamiya still made life hard for him by forcing Keiichi to do most of the work for the Auto Club. Even upon their graduation from Nekomi Tech, they establish new levels of control over Keiichi as graduate students. Both are rather lazy and carefree, confident that everything will work out without too much worry (often due to Keiichi's efforts). They are also both skilled and enthusiastic mechanics, as shown by Otaki carrying a full ratchet set on the inside lining of his leather jacket. Also, earlier in their college career, they both gave Chihiro a ring to signify their affection for her.
